After breakfast, we suggest you to head to Limburg (77 km) , a small city on the banks of the river Lahn, one of the main tributaries of the Rhine River. This beautiful city conserves the charm and timber-framed architecture of the late medieval era as well as the Baroque neo-classical architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. Limburg´s old town is one of the prettiest and best preserved in the region. Take the time to visit the city, the old town and the Cathedral, an icon of Limburg and the seat of the Bishop of the Region. The St. Georg Cathedral (Limburger Dom) is one of the best example of late Romanesque architecture in Hesse. Then continue onward to the city of Cologne, known for its Gothic cathedral (119 Km). Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Cologne (Köln in German) is the country's fourth-largest city, straddling both sides of the Rhine River. The city´s famous cathedral is the seat of the Catholic Archbishopric of Cologne. In 1996 the cathedral was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon you can enjoy a "cup of coffee" on board a boat, for a cruise on the romantic Rhine. After the cruise, visit Cologne's Old Town and Cathedral. (B).DAY 3 COLOGNE - MUNSTER - BREMEN

After the Second World War, the city was divided into four districts, shared by the Allies, who took the administrative responsibilities for their sector. In 1961 Berlin was divided by a wall isolating the sector run by Russia. In 1989 the wall came down and the city was unified once again. Parts of the wall are still standing, as a memorial to that time. In Germany, it had the status that Windsor has in Britain, having served as the residence of Prussian Kings and German Kaisers until 1918. Around the city are a series of interconnected lakes and unique cultural landmarks, in particular the park and palace of Sans Souci. It is the largest World Heritage Site in Germany and is included in the guided city tour. After your tour, at the end of the afternoon, return to Berlin. (B)DAY 9 BERLIN - DRESDEN

Wander the old narrow streets and visit the Semper Opera House. Afternoon at leisure. (B)DAY 10 DRESDEN – ERFURT - WEIMAR

The program also includes the Augustinian Convent, where Martin Luther spent some several years, and the Petersberg Citadel, built from 1664 to 1707 with a magnificent view of the region.
